If you live in LA you have probably seen or driven by the Andy Warhol mural on Fairfax, across from the CBS building.
The mural was born as a collaboration between Photographer Karen Bystedt (who photographed Andy Warhol ) and street artist Cryptik ( who painted the detailed gold and silver graphic background) and Nick Flatt ( who painted the photo realistic face ). They came together to create a mixture of their ideas and work and they came up with a unique signature of each one all united into a fantastic piece of wall art.
Murals are making LA one of the most creative cities in the world. Plus it's not often you can see such talent for free. So drive by and enjoy it while it's there. I promise. It's cool.
