Each night during Hong Kong’s Art Basel, Berlin artist/mucisian Carsten Nocolai unveiled a new magestic creation of work.
Carsten presented his video and sound installations on a pulsating light pattern in synchronized frequency with his music, across the facede of the Hong Kong iconic ICC ( International Commerce Center ) building in Kowloon Harbour for all to see and experience. Hong Kong is famous for it’s night-time light shows and this is a fine example of the use of video art.
An accompanying mobile APP allowed everyone to participate in the art installation and hear the music that the artwork illuminations pulsed to. Visible from most locations on the Hong Kong island, the light show is best seen from any waterfront restaurant with a great glass of wine. Well done Hong Kong!!!
